This Warranty Policy clearly outlines the coverage, conditions, exclusions, and procedures for warranty claims.
1. Scope of Warranty
Warranty coverage is provided solely for manufacturer defects and approved faults.
Warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, accidents, liquid exposure, power surges, negligence, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.
2. Warranty for New Items
New items are covered strictly under the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty terms and conditions.
Warranty claims for new items should be directed to the manufacturer’s or supplier’s authorized service centers in Nigeria.
Remzy Consult will assist with guidance but is not responsible for the approval or processing of manufacturer-based warranty claims.
3. Warranty for Used (Pre-Owned) Items
Used or refurbished items purchased from Remzy Consult carry a 7-day limited warranty starting from the date of delivery.
If a manufacturer-related fault is discovered within the 7-day period (and not caused by the customer), the product may qualify for repair, exchange, or refund, at the sole discretion of Remzy Consult.
After 7 days from delivery, no warranty claims will be accepted on used items.
4. Conditions for Warranty Validity
To be eligible for warranty claims:
The product must be in the exact same condition it was sold — no physical, cosmetic, liquid, or electrical damage.
The customer must provide the original proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).
Where applicable, original packaging and accessories must be included.
Any damage or faults caused by mishandling, negligence, or unauthorized repairs will automatically void the warranty.
5. Warranty Claim Process
If a defect is noticed at the point of delivery, the customer must report it immediately for evaluation and possible replacement.
If a fault develops within the valid warranty period, the customer must notify Remzy Consult by sending an email to remzy@remzyconsult.com within 48 hours of noticing the issue.
All claims are subject to verification by Remzy Consult’s technical team or the manufacturer’s authorized service centers.
6. Exclusions from Warranty
Warranty does not apply to:
– Physical damage (cracks, broken parts, dents, scratches).
– Liquid damage.
– Power surge or electrical damage.
– Wear and tear due to regular use.
– Damage from unauthorized repairs, installations, or alterations.
– Consumables, clearance items, customized orders, and personal care items (these are sold as-is and are non-returnable).
7. Additional Important Notes
Warranty periods vary depending on the product and manufacturer — most standard warranties for new devices are between 6 to 12 months.
Batteries or accessories attached to devices may have different warranty periods (depending on the make and model).
Customers are advised to fully charge gadget batteries according to manufacturer instructions upon first use to maximize battery lifespan.
Warranty terms, where applicable, may also be found on the reverse side of your invoice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Remzy Consult shall not be held liable for any delays, inconveniences, loss of use, or damages arising from warranty service requests, whether the warranty claim is accepted or declined.
